Biography
For several years Roberto Menabò has been holding concerts at clubs, cultural associations and festivals, both as a soloist and in ensembles, proving to be a careful interpreter of various aspects of folk music, with particular attention to original blues and the different techniques of acoustic guitar. He's a contributor for various music magazines, such as "Jazz It", "Il Blues" "Late for the sky", "Folk bulletin", and holding guitar courses and workshops and has published the book "John Fahey" edited by Lapis Lapsus editions He cut "A Bordo del Conte Biancamano", a record of acoustic guitar, "Laughing the Blues", a personal view of the myths of archaic blues and the "Il Profumo Del Vinile" a collection of original solo guitar and traditional country blues all three met with the favour of the critics.
